1. Who we are
MyGitNotes Pro (the “Service”) is operated by 紅蔥頭工作室 (Shallots Studio), a business registered in Taiwan with unified business number 73046593 (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@mygitnotes.com.
By signing in to or paying for the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Your account
You sign in with your GitHub account. You are responsible for that account and for everything done through it in the Service. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.
Tell us promptly at support@mygitnotes.com if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Your notes and content
Your notes live in your own GitHub repositories. You own them, and we claim no rights in them.
You give us permission to access, process and transmit your content only as needed to run the Service for you: reading and writing the repositories you grant to our GitHub App, storing the assets you upload, and running the tools you start. You are responsible for your content and for having the right to use it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or infringe other people’s rights, through the Service;
- attack, probe or overload the Service, or try to get around its limits or its security;
- use the hosted sandbox for cryptocurrency mining, for attacks on other systems, or for anything unrelated to working on your notes;
- resell or share access to the Service, or share one account between several people;
- upload malware or content that is unlawful.
5. Plans and payment
The Service has a Free plan and a Pro plan. Pro costs US$6 a month or US$60 a year, and there is no free trial. The pricing page lists what each plan includes.
Our order process is run by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. Paddle takes your payment, issues the invoice and collects any sales tax or VAT that applies, which is shown at checkout. Paddle’s terms apply to the purchase.
Pro renews automatically for the same period until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro continues until the end of the period you already paid for. If we raise the price, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal.
Refunds are described in the Refund Policy: a full refund on request within 14 days of your first payment, which ends Pro immediately. Renewal payments are not refunded, and you can cancel at any time from Settings → Plan.
6. Allowances and limits
Each plan has storage and usage allowances, such as 100 MB of asset storage on Free, and 10 GB of asset storage with 30 hours of sandbox time and 10 hours of active CPU a month on Pro. Monthly allowances reset each calendar month and do not carry over.
We may change allowances. A change that reduces what existing subscribers get takes effect no sooner than 30 days after we tell them.
7. Other services you connect
The Service works with GitHub and, if you add your own API keys, AI providers such as OpenAI, Google, OpenRouter and Anthropic. You deal with those providers directly: their terms apply, and any charges they make are yours to pay. We call a provider only with a key you supply.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we end the paid Service altogether, we refund the unused part of what you prepaid.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time, and cancel Pro as described above. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if your use puts the Service or other people at risk; where we reasonably can, we warn you first.
Your notes stay in your GitHub repositories whatever happens. Losing Pro never deletes your data. Our handling of account data is described in the Privacy Policy.
10. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind beyond those the law does not allow us to exclude.
AI agents and AI-written text can be wrong. Review what they change before you rely on it, and use Git history to recover earlier versions.
11. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under consumer protection law where you live.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The Taipei District Court is the court of first instance for disputes, to the extent the law allows and subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the place where you live.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a material change we notify you in the Service or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using the Service after that date means you accept the new terms.
